@baris yes, this was our method; however, there have been many real new users who wanted to use those fields, and it was taking a lot of time for us to fill in their info manually, so we had to abandon this method.

Now plugin nodebb-plugin-cash awards users virtual currency for posting: higher character count = more pay.
Maybe it would be nice to have a modification, where user will be awarded for the content and upvotes from another users ( like SO) , more upvotes for comment = more pay. cc @psychobunny -
I might build that into the cash mod eventually
