I discovered this was due to the theme slick, which seemed to be broken to me, as the form and input elements were missing multiple values, which didn't get loaded when save was clicked, so no information was sent. I made a child theme to fix it.
Changing main domain to https + paying the cost
I have opened port 443 in my server and when I use telnet ip 443, it works fine, but when I enter https://mysite.com it shows me ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. And when I use https://ip it takes much time to load and then show me it can't be reached.
Can anyone help me regarding this issue? I will pay its costs in order to run my website with SSL.
It is VPS and only one website is hosted.
And I want to be sure that if I update/upgrade nginx in the future, the settings will not be replaced by the default ones.
Thanks in advance
@inna you'll want to generate an SSL certificate with Let's Encrypt (you can see the directions on their website)
