Kind of hard for me to test as an administrator lol. I can post regardless of settings. I guess it's time for a low-privilege account.

I think this is a great way to encourage participation for certain kinds of forums. I'd like to include it in mine. It doesn't seem like we have a plugin available so can someone brief me on how to create it? I basically want a checkbox around my text area (when making a new post), which when checked would show the poster as anonymous.
Can someone help me out on how to go about it? I know briefly about hooks and methods but am not sure how to accomplish this.

At this time, it is not possible to "post anonymously" when logged in. You would have to enable the "reply to topics" privilege to a specific category for guests, and then your users would need to log out to post as a guest.
