Only admin account can upload non-image files

    NODEBB_VERSION=v1.11.0

    node:10.14.1

    In the admin panel (settings>uploads) I have allowed users to upload regular files.

    When I create a new post as Admin, the upload file icon appears above the compose area as expected. If I login as a registered user the upload file icon disappears (upload image icon is still available).

    How to overcome this?

    (I've tried using the extended markdown plugin with no luck)

    Worked it out.

    In the admin panel:

    Manage>Privileges

    then tick the 'upload files' box for registered users.
