    When creating a multilingual forum, I faced the problem of distributing content in different languages.
    I liked how this problem was solved in invision power board.
    To create a multilingual forum, I need to develop a plugin that disables unnecessary languages and adds additional fields to the platform settings for adding content in the required languages. To begin with, I need to have additional fields for the names and descriptions of categories, as is done in invision power board. Who can do it, send your suggestions in the chat

    Hello, I like discourse's achievement system which automatically awards users with points and badges upon completing certain actions. Even just browsing the forum the system awards them.

    NodeBB has a plugin similar to this as seen here: https://community.nodebb.org/topic/4397/nodebb-plugin-ns-awards-ns-awards-give-medals

    The problem is the plugin is outdated and no longer works on the latest nodeBB.

    I think a feature like this is extremely important for user experience and engagement. When people are awarded for something they tend to repeat the behavior so this will help with user retention.

    Auto thumbnail/resize images

    Hi!

    It would be great if there was a global setting to automatically thumbnail images in posts without user interaction.

    I would really appreciate if it could be an admin setting where you could set a thumbnail-size for all uploaded images, if you click on them they will show the original image in full size.

    I know there is a plugin (nodebb-plugin-image-sizer) that does resize images, but requires user knowledge.

    This is related to an issue resolved earlier.

    We found that if a topic's posts contained images pointing to a relative path (e.g. ![test](1.jpg), NodeBB would attempt to load them, causing them to load the entire topic again (since the url is site.com/topic/123/1.jpg).

    To combat this, @baris restricted the URL so that the slug must be correct, otherwise the user is sent to 404.

    For lack of a better solution, this was the approach we took, so this seems to be the reason why you're running into this issue now.

    +1 for SVG support.

    For now if you want to get SVGs working, add 'image/svg+xml' into the array within src/controllers/admin/uploads.js:48 😉
