Any reason the plugin itself doesn't work for you? It does require you to actually click the button to create the post, although I assume it can be automated for Ghost (we just tended to make it a little more generic so it works with WordPress, etc.)

Having a spell checking and grammar plugin in NodeBB would be a big plus. It could use the spell checking API Bing v7 which is free it seems to me or other APIs to choose from. -

@pitaj I know, but they are not at all effective compared to specialized correctors and in other languages than English Chrome even propose mistakes instead of correcting.

That could always be a plugin... were you looking for a button in the composer to run a spell-checker?
