How to configure email notification

Email notification shipped in NodeBB 0.4.0 Email notifications (Daily digest style) #326, but I don't see where in the ACP admins can configure notification settings. The Email tab on the General Settings page doesn't provide any details other than that a plugin for a 3rd party email service has to be installed.
How does email notification work and how is it configured?

There are no settings for the emailer at present.
Follow this issue for updates regarding that effort.

@planner Daily digests? Yes. It doesn't send them to you if you have no notifications. (I might change this to "If you haven't logged in in the past day", instead)

Is there a way to completely disable email digests in the meantime?

@julian Gotcha. If I may offer some criticism, it would be ideal to have even a basic on/off toggle for email blasting features when they ship. Many users don't want to receive daily-ish emails.
