I can't get NodeBB to run on Windows 10 for development

I've installed NodeBB on Windows 10 following the official Windows 8 guide. Everything has gone smoothy but when I go to localhost:4567 it just shows a white screen with register and login buttons. Nothing else.
No errors or warnings.
Has anyone else faced this problem?

The windows docs are wrong in several places. Have you tried running
./nodebb dev?
