Unable to hide email for people who sign up with 'Social Authentication' plugin (Security)

Guys I just realized that the email is not hidden for people who sign-up using social authentication plugin (ex: google, facebook) despite checking the hide email setting. Am I missing something.

Admins are able to see the user's email, could that be the reason? Try viewing the profile as an unprivileged user.

@julian True. Running as admin is what allowed me to view emails despite being hidden. Emails are hidden when viewing the profile as an unprivileged user.
