I want the latest post at the top, and with the default settings, the post at the top is the first post in the thread. Is there any way to disable that behaviour?

If you are seeing [object Promise] in your output it could be due to a missing await or returning a promise instead of the html string. You didn't post the surrounding function this code is in or which plugin hook it is using so can't really tell what is causing it.

You can create a plugin that waits on the hook "action:post.save" and fires a method that executes the custom action you define

My System is Windows, MongoDB also this is the hash or output of git rev-parse HEAD: 902da5402918dbe99c5f298ce769b0b1994739b5

I have switched theme it doesn't fix, run upgrade, dev mode even that doesn't help.

@baris is correct, it is an error thrown by express because the large post is larger than the system default.

See http://expressjs.com/en/resources/middleware/body-parser.html#bodyparserjsonoptions

In NodeBB, we assume the default provided by body-parser, which is 100kb

If you want to support longer posts, update this value by adding this to your config.json
{ ... "bodyParser": { "json": { "limit": "1mb" } }
I take no responsibility for whether these values actually work, but I think they should 🙂
