Need to add localStorage to it, but also an option to re-enable in the user settings in case you accidentally closed it and actually do want it activated.
In any case, noticed OP is on an iPad, so made some changes that might work for him

Since I'm having a hard time with the subfolder installation, I decided to do a subdomain installation. Frontend seems to work fine, but there are a few issues with the ACP.

Unable to navigate the tabs on the General Settings page. No matter which tab I click, the General tab is displayed.

The local emailer plugin probably needs to be updated to use the new
action:app.loadfilter. (Paging @barveyhirdman )As for the latter problem -- what errors show up in the web console when you attempt to click on the tabs in the General Settings page?
