Are there any plugins to allow file download management? I wanted to create a similar structure to Box within NodeBB where I can upload files to it, and users can easily access different categories of download.

Ko-Fi is a simple donation platform that allows people to send tip without too much hassle.

While they do not have full blown API, they do have webhook that we can redirect to our own endpoints.

Would be nice if NodeBB have plugin that can act as endpoint so we can hook right here on our Ko-Fi profile

Personally i would like to see a plugins for the integration with encrypted messaging services like IRC and XMPP.
The nodeBB should be a "relay point" serving all those incoming messages and sending back the responses from users.

Then we need working poll voting plugin, which can be used anonymously in tor network and in normal internet.

Then plugin which actually play video in the topic like flash player in former times of youtube, current plugins play videos but not as embedded video player.

I run a forum with a lot of high res images. This causes a couple of problems

loading times, this is managed by loading lower resolution images in the topic storage - this has several solutions

I would however want to solve this in a slightly different way, making the experience for the user more seamless.

Currently when a user wants to zoom an image, he first needs to click the image, load the original, and then zoom.

What I would want is the image to be zoomable in the topic. When a user zooms in the topic, JavaScript can identify the resolution and pixel density of the view, and reload a new higher resolution image as needed. Similar to a srcset for the browser, but dynamically force reloads.

I currently store images for the forum with netlify large media. I need to manually run scripts to move files from upload, send them to netlify, and update post links. This could all be handled by a plugin.

Netlify large media on its end provides transformation of your images to any resolution on the fly. This is fast and very convenient. No need to generate multiple versions of the images.

What would I want then?
A plugin that uploads images to Netlify powered git LFS, and uses the transforms to load the right sized image for the view, and reloads a new version if the screen size changes, or the page is zoomed.

For me this would be a fantastic feature, that nodeBB, as far as I know, would be the only forum software to have.

Payment system using stripe with support for subscriptions and one time payments, and can perform actions (ban user, remove from group, etc) if someone charges back the payment.

i mean set a duration that make sure people can only change username once a month or balabala😋

I have a problem that users are violating the rules, but they also help other users in the forum.

Therefore I do not want to keep them away but only to reduce their reputation, and for that I need a plugin that will give administrators reputation reducing permissions.

We use NodeBB 3+ years at https://chatrooms.talkwithstranger.com and some more sites and love NodeBB.

We use NodeBB also as a CMS containing English definitions on a dictionary. Our users are loving it. but we are struggling in increasing our Google rankings as all our competitors are using AMP pages to outrank us.

We would need an official Google AMP plugin that would enable any node bb topic page , like the 1 I'll post my topic on, to have an alternative Accelerated Mobile Page.

I don't know for you, but on mobile, when you want to submit a new subject, you don't have a nice and friendly button at the end of the page as a lot of CMS but only a little ">" on the right top area which is really not user friendly...

I am finding a plugin for nodebb which will allow authors to lock/hide snippets of the post. and the reader/user need to do Certain actions (like replying to the post, Paying points, etc...)in order to gain access to the locked/hidden snippet.

Would anyone have the ability and time for a NodeBB plugin that allowed authentication against an existing Dancer2 Session Cookie?

I have been poking around with using the Shared Session Cookie plugin, but the required libraries break the Dancer2 application I inherited. So I am stuck tween a rock and a hard place, supporting both an application I have limited knowledge of, and an existing NodeBB forum.

Currently the forum is authenticating using the WordPress SSO plugin.

Funds might be available for the right solution. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know of a plugin to embed uploaded videos? I enabled file uploads on my forum, but they just show up as links. Would like an embedded video player. Tried the plugin search, but the 2 it found did not work.
