honestly with how increasingly hostile everything is getting I’d love to have "gender” become unused in most account settings. genuinely, why does Facebook or any other social media platform need my gender? A pronouns field sure. Handy. Can just use your bio but why have an option to select a gender? You’re going to either see gender binaries enforced ”M or F", or alternatively a limited selection that barely scratches the surface.
