2nd #motorbike lesson today went well. Got the hang of gears and had better clutch control. Did a few miles around quiet industrial estate roads, heading out on open roads in two weeks (no lesson next week, instructor on hols).

Contemplating buying a geared 125 to practice on between lessons.

@Steveb If I were going to buy a 125cc right now it would almost certainly be a Honda Grom. They look like so much fun.

@Steveb I bought a Honda Grom to practice in my backyard and build some confidence before my training course. It was a great idea.

The Honda Grom is the perfect bike for it too - cheap, light, and small. I outgrew it quickly, but don't have any regrets.
