This is a fool's errand. There is NO WAY we can afford this.
But gotdammit, it would make an amazing Menopause Compound. We would need a third Bestie....hmph.
I mean....just look at the space! Benson would have a yard!

I'm a sucker for old places like this.
Every time I walk past this place I was so envious of the tall ceilings I could see from the sidewalk.It's amazing. I don't even care about the old fashioned finishes. I lived in a house like this in Ann Arbor and Chicago. So rickety! So charming!

@DeliaChristina @RIJim sure seems like two friends could live in the duplex and rent the “caretakers” house for a solid rent (2-3 bedroom seems nice and spacious). Looks likely that the whole property needs a lot of work (the listing’s footnotes are basically realtor code for “a lot of this home doesn’t meet current code so eh check with the local authorities…”) but is very spacious indeed and looks like fantastic bones (and a reasonable for the Bay Area price)
