My energy account is £700 in credit, so obviously the power company want to put my monthly direct debit up by another £50. Fucksticks.

I can recommend Octopus Energy: I can use their Web site to set my own direct debit with no arm-wrestling and no nagging. It takes about a minute. I've recently reduced it from £130 to £100 because, by coincidence, we were £700 in credit.I think @Edent uses Octopus, so, if you want to switch, get a referral link from him and you'll get £50 each. (I won't give my own referral link, because I prefer to hide my identity.)

Octopus do variable DD - so you only pay for what you use. No need to be in loads of credit.
