If I could start over I would just avoid buying stuff from Cinestill (including the device, and their C-41 chemicals). Just expensive for what it’s worth and also annoying company.
I only use Bellini chemicals where possible, they are my favorite maker.

Bellini in the U.S.: https://www.freestylephoto.com/search?q=Bellini
Bellini in the UK: https://ntphotoworks.com/?s=Bellini&post_type=product
In Germany: https://www.fotoimpex.com/brands/bellini/chemistry/
All their products that I’ve used have been excellent quality. The only way I could do it better might be to mix my own Kodak chemicals, but I don’t operate a mini lab or those quantities.

I tend to do e6, although film prices are insane right now. The bellini kits seem to work well, and fuji have stopped selling -
@wishy I have a Bellini e6 kit and a bulk roll of E100 that I have yet to start on!
