Accessibility is not at odds with aesthetic.
Some of the most beautiful designs I’ve witnessed were more accessible.
Engage your mind and look deeper, you’ll see it too.

@annaecook As an example to your post: I just replaced my blog's settings popover-like thing with a more accessible dialog with submit buttons (not my idea; an expert told me the original wasn't good).
The new version looks better than the old one, works nicely, and is much more accessible. That's a win!
Even the code is now simpler than the old one, but it's just plain old HTML, CSS, and JS. Anyone could use these!
