Double posting this: I am trying to set up duel booting #ubuntu and #windows and I believe I did it all wrong!

@jat23 Whenever I add Linux to a modern Windows machine, a big issue I face is Secure Boot. It's usually straightforward to turn it off, but in some cases, it can be really tough.
As others have said, it's easiest to install/start with Windows first and then add Ubuntu/other Linux second. Most Linux installers are able to recognize there's a Windows install and work around it.
