I was genuinely curious about what people call “malicious intent” and what they have in mind. Ethics seems very interesting to me. Is there anyone here who has studied ethics at fedi?I imagine that there are many interpretations, and it is impossible to say which one is the only correct one.

My son works in the department of the Navy as a civilian. He works remotely 4 of 5 days a week. I asked him if he’s worried about #Elon & #vivek_ramaswamy plan to get rid of 25% of government employees by forcing them to work in the office 5 days a week. He said those two knuckleheads don’t have any power over him. They’re not government employees. They can’t do anything to him if his supervisor authorizes him to work from home. They don’t realize the AFGE union would fight termination in court.

I've just had a frightening thought after reading Daniel Boffey's Guardian profile of Jeremy Clarkson.Although he professes no real interest in becoming a politician, I can see a world in which Nigel Farage (or someone else) convinces him to become a party figurehead (pandering to Clarkson's ego) & then a 'popular' push to make him actual leader..... presenting us with our very own (if also quite different) Donald Trump - more so than current UK candidates for that role...#headinmyhands

It seems plans are finally afoot to re-open the former Lyceum Cinema on Govan Road in Glasgow. Designed by McNair and Elder in a stunning Streamlined Moderne style, it was built in 1938. Empty for around 20 years, a new website has been launched which says it will be turned into a multi-functional venue called the Lyceum Hub. You can visit the website here: https://lyceumhub.uk/.
