I meant to reply to this a day ago, but I forgot about it. Anyways. What you can consider is using the build in reward-essentials plugin to accomplish this. Make a group, and then make a rule in the rewards for >= add to group.
In case anyone decides to work on that topic: I would really love to see a light version of the Teamspeak widget, that is, without detailed information on clients.
The reason is that I have to deal with a very restrictive rented Teamspeak server where ServerQueries are limited to 10 per 3 seconds (no possibilty to add domains to the whitelist).
Two requests, one for clientlist and one for channellist, would be enough to create a basic viewer layout.
Also, caching the requests so that multiple concurrent page views don't trigger a server flood alert would be great.
I had a look at the widget from @pitaj, but unfortunately my programming skills are rather low😢.
can the NodeBB account creation be handed off to or shadow the account creation in Opencart or visa-versa? Creating two accounts is real-world untenable: Any integration would have to find a workaround.
Something i talked about ages ago was a plugin that enabled geotagging for threads so that threads could be searched/browsed on a map like craigslist. This would require lots and lots of hours but at this point i think the community has grown and may consist of enough supporters to make it possible.
I know a AdSense Plugin already exist (nodebb-plugin-google-adsense). But it is not compatible with 0.7.x and the developer does not update it. So if someone could make a new one or update the existing one - that would be nice.

Now i've really wanted to use this plugin, although there is something theres missing which would really improve the plugin, it's also added on the "TODO" list but i haven't really found any progress on it lately.
Now I thought if it really would be hard to make a "Select as best answer" option for the person who created the thread, that would automaticly lock the thread and set it as "SOLVED"
Is there any chance someone could update the Topic Color, Colors, or Blue Posts plugin? Ideally I'd like to be able to color topics (and the text therein) created by individuals of a certain group (being able to set a unique color per group would be ideal but if they were all blue that'd be an acceptable compromise). Topic Color ("Colorify Topics") seems to almost work but there is an issue with selecting the allowed groups to color their topics, and even after finally being able to do so I have been unable to see any effects on my forums using the provided syntax.
Oh... See! I would've done complete nonsense if I hadn't asked. ☺
Well, this then is actually a completely different story, indeed. This requires adding an UI element, rather than changing present ones. In fact, it would be reasonable to leave it out of the core overall, as it's matter of taste whether you would want to use it or not.
Are you familiar with the template engine used (templates.js)? I'm not much of a UI guy and if you used it before, I would guess you are familiar with buffer-buttons and how to embed them (HTML/CSS). Maybe you could place those buttons in the (your) theme and I'll provide the needed data from the backend (i.e. plugin).
I really gotta sleep. 😕 Needed like 10 minutes for those few lines now. xD
But I'm pretty confident, that this is not too complicated, after all!
Ex. A user puts his link/content in [hide][/hide] no one will be able to see the hidden content unless replied or gets rep. If anyone can make this email me @ firstname.lastname@example.org and will can discuss more at it.
